To Do List

I can't find a piece of paper and a pen - so this is more for me to keep track of what I have to do today. But if you want a taste of my day or are just a stalker like that, this is on my agenda in no particular order:

1.) Make "To Do List"
2.) Feed, change, put down for nap and play with baby
3.) Fold all clean laundry and put away
4.) Wash and dry dirty laundry
5.) See #2
6.) Clean first floor (kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom)
7.) Clean second floor (bedroom, ensuite bathroom, guest bathroom, nursery, guest bedroom)
8.) Put new sales flyers in Tupperware folders
9.) Call Thursday's Tupperware Bingo party to pick up outstanding orders
10.) Call Sunday's Tupperware party to pick up outstanding orders
11.) Call both upcoming Tupperware Bingo party hosts to get guest list.
12.) Call upcoming Tupperware home party host to get guest list/decide on menu.
13.) Take a shower
14.) Get dressed (I'm not currently naked - just in PJ's)
15.) Cook butternut squash, puree and freeze.
16.) Fridgesmart romaine lettuce.
17.) Make shopping list for week.

And I'm off...

I was featured!

Hey everybody!

I had a very domestic day today. I roasted a chicken (and believe me - I make the *best* roast chicken just ask my hubby!) and made a bunch of homemade baby food. I wanted to do the homemade thing from day 1 but got caught off guard when the little man started eating veggies. Then time got away from me. But I did it today and it was so easy! If you have any good homemade baby food recipes send them this way and I'll post them for everyone (and taste test them on my baby!).

I was featured last Friday on a new blog Womb to Bloom which looks to be a great read for soon-to-be moms, new moms like me and even established moms can find great information! Check it out, along with their other featured blogs!

I was kidnapped!

Ok not really. I was taking some time to myself to do the mommy thing, wife thing, get my business off the ground and the blog didn't fit into life at the time. But I am back and raring to go - and somehow in my absence I got 110 followers! You guys rock!

I wanted to update last night but blogger was giving me issues. But it looks like it's fixed now yay.

More after. Sit tight. But not too tight. We don't want you to get hemorrhoids!

Just a quick one

Dead tired...little man decided he didn't want to sleep for a second night in a row. Got 2hrs last night (Daddy is away on business trip) and had to be up at 6am because I had a big Tuppeware training/conference I signed up to go to in southern CT. It paid off though - I was #19 in sales for the entire Northeast so go me!

Poor Adam has a terrible cold. He isn't interested in eating that much and only occasionally will drink. He's got a bad cough, runny nose and watery eyes. But the pediatrician said there really isn't anything I can do for him. Keep him hydrated, do the suction/saline, humidifier and let him rest. I wish I could make it go away for him!

I'm sick too - but I can deal with it...poor kid my heart just breaks!

Happy Birthday April!!!

Pedi Visit

Hey guys and gals - I have my first non-well pedi visit today. I've been MIA since hubby and baby were/are sick and now I am too. Hubby is much better, but Adam didn't sleep a wink last night (but he's happy this morning) and he has an awful cough and a really runny nose. Thankfully Martin dealt with him all night since I also am on the receiving end of this cold and then I got a nasty tummy in the middle of the night too.

I'm such a baby when it comes to colds - but I would take the flu if it meant Adam wasn't sick! I'll let you know how it went!

It's been a week...but

I know it's been AWHILE and I've broken my commitment to posting at least one thing everyday. I suck. Go ahead and comment and tell me!

Not to make excuses - but last Tuesday was my birthday so I knew I was probably not going to post that day (it was fabulous FYI and my husband and family and April rock!). And as I said last Monday I saw the doctor and he put me back on medicine for my thyroid issues - and it's been taking me awhile to get used to them again. But now I'm fine. Sunday was Easter so I hope everyone had a good one!

But in the interim I totally spic and spanned my house (well the downstairs which is what everyone sees!). When my house is in chaos my world is - and now that it's clean I feel like I can get back on track.

This is what my dining room looked like before:

It was worse than it looks - the part of the picture you can't see was loaded with Tupperware and craft filled boxes and it was horrible!

And now my dining room looks like this:

That really nice wine bottle wall artwork and the wine in it (and installation of it and the wedding picture next to it!) were my birthday present from my Mom!

Test Results...

So my TSH bloodwork came back (my thyroid hormone levels) and UGH it's back up to a 7! It was at 8 back when I first found out about my hypothyroidism. So I'm back on the meds to fix that. And the part that I was dreading - my cholesterol levels - are surprisingly ok. They aren't fantastic or without areas of improvement by any means. But when I was 18 I had my first cholesterol check and my total cholesterol was like 396 or something as equally outrageous (and I'm shocked I wasn't dead). I got my count today and it's at 238 - which is high, but hello check out that difference!!! Eat your oatmeal and fish kiddos - it works!!! I have a different Dr. appt on Friday - getting my Mirena put in. Sorry to my Mom and Dad and Mum-in-Law and Dad-in-Law but we are on a grandchild hiatus until this one is out of diapers!

Now for a completely different animal. I had my first Tupperware party in two weeks yesterday (I could not get anyone to date the last two weeks of March - what's up with that?) and it was small but FABULOUS! Loved my hostesses family - they were a blast - and the sales are over $600 right now and still growing!!!

I'm making an "Opening Day Dinner" tonight, even though the Red Sox opener was postponed. I'll put up pics later!!!

As Carole would say, "Peace out Girl Scout!"
